International Quilt Day All Things QuiltsThe Patchwork and Quilters Guild, International Quilt Day was a huge success and plans are already in place for next year. The Workhouse will have an exhibition of small quilts and children’s workshops again next year, further details will be posted later in the year.. The Workhouse Coffee Shop will also have a number of specials on offer to celebrate the day.

The Dunfanaghy Community Children’s ChoirThe Children’s Choir meets on a Wednesday afternoon from 3.15pm to 4.30pm with Anne Patterson in The Workhouse. The sessions run during the school term and each session costs €3.00. A big thank you to Anne for a fantastic time from all the Children as they finish up for the school holidays. The next classes start in September. |

Movie Night at the Workhouse
Following on from last year's hugely successful festival the Festival commiittee are delighted to announce that the 2010 Dunfanaghy Jazz and Blues Festival will take place from Friday September 10th - Sunday 12th September. Those of you who joined us last year already know what a great weekend it was and certainly it was the busiest weekend Dunfanaghy has ever seen. So come along and enjoy the music and craic.
