New Lake is situated just outside Dunfanaghy’s town boundary and is a beautiful lake with a vast array of flora and fauna, not to mention the birdlife.

There are a number of story boards explaining the story as well as an interesting DVD showing footage of the local area and explaining how New Lake was formed.
